Debbie Onufrychuk, RN has 38 years of clinical nursing experience working in hospitals, Health Clinics, Outpatient Centers and Schools. She has been an American Heart Association CPR Instructor for 10 years, teaching, BLS, CPR and First Aid.

Debbie has been an active member in her Vienna and Arlington communities, and has served on the board of the DC School Nurses Association. She loves working with people, and is dedicated to teaching lifesaving skills and offering a rewarding experience.

Elizabeth McDermott, RN spent seven years teaching science in local independent schools before attending nursing school. She has been a practicing nurse for 29 years, working both in hospitals and in schools, and an American Heart Association CPR instructor for 23 years.

Elizabeth is a nationally certified school nurse who has served on the District of Columbia School Nurses Association board and on the board of directors of the National Association of School Nurses. She has authored numerous position statements for school nurses and is a frequent speaker at conferences and on school health webinars. Elizabeth is passionate about ensuring that community members are confident and prepared to respond to medical emergencies.
